Facebook "Gestapo" in Slovenia
Imagine that you are discussing a health issue in a closed (!) Facebook group as a concerned parent. Well, you cannot do that in Slovenia. Because the anonymous Slovenian Facebook “Gestapo” will track you down.
A Slovenian parent was reported to the health inspector at the Ministry of Health Should we now think that discussing health issues in a closed Facebook group is a national threat?
The health inspector used the name of that parent in the closed group to discover the name of the child and the pediatrician of that child. This Gestapo-like search based on a Facebook group membership resulted in a state-sanctioned bureaucratic process with possible high monetary penalties. Not to mention the severe sobering revelation that the Big Brother is indeed watching every word you write.
What is it that parents in Slovenia are not allowed to discuss? One is not allowed to discuss the machinations and profit mongering of Big Pharma. Vaccines are off limit. One can debate compulsory organ donation, surrogate pregnancy for money, euthanasia and thousands of deaths that are the result of medical mistakes. But vaccines are taboo. Questioning mandatory vaccination is like doubting the Vatican. If you dare to say a word you are banished. Cursed and punished forever. In the case of the Vatican, this is explained by the Dogma. But in science, an open debate is vital for the freedom of thought. Isn’t it?
Isn’t it interesting how a commercial product rose to the status of religious protection? And how paternal care for the wellbeing of their children got left behind? You would think that the Ministry of Health is so deeply caring for Slovenian children that reading Facebook posts is somehow natural?
For example, where is the intense sniffing around Facebook when and where drunk and drugged parents traumatize their children? There is no such concern. Because somehow that is quite acceptable. I mean, people are supposed to have fun, right?
Why didn't the health inspectors act, when in Slovenia hundreds of children became chronically ill, due to industrial poisoning? Like in the case of Lafarge. How come the state is interested in children’s health only when the profit of the corporations is involved? Last year toxic ash fell on a small town in Slovenia after the chemical storehouse Kemis burned down. It took the government several days to act. All this time children were playing outside.
It appears that it is all about inducing agony in ordinary people while billionaires can have their beauty sleep. Even the most powerful rulers in history one day woke up to their greatest nightmare – people that had nothing left to lose.
